Workshop-Cum-Training on Safety and Assurance of AI systems
Workshop Co-Chairs: Prof Alamgir Hossain & Professor Keshav Dahal
Because of the rapid adoption of AI systems, the safety and operational assurance associated with technical, ethical and legal risks of AI systems in all organisations is constantly changing and evolving. Therefore, a comprehensive management strategy is required to avoid operational/reputational damage and facilitate legal compliance. This workshop aims to provide an understanding of AI safety principles, techniques, and best practices while addressing ethical and social implications. It targets AI executives, practitioners, researchers, engineers, and professionals. It will be a three-hour session that includes: (i) an introduction to AI systems and safety and assurance of AI systems, (ii) methodologies and techniques, (iii) AI ethics and social implications, (iv) Cyberattacks related to Safety and Assurance of AI Systems, (v) ethical Issues and Risks of using language models (e.g., ChatGPT) and (vi) Case studies. Only 25 participants (first cum first serve basis) will be considered from the business, industries, education, health and finance sectors). Contact email of the conference:
