Conference Trip Information

We will experience two of Scotland’s most iconic landmarks The Kelpies and Stirling.
We will depart from Paisley at 9:00 AM.

Our first stop will be The Kelpies (approx. 1.5 hours). These breathtaking 30-metre-high steel horse-head sculptures are a modern marvel, celebrating Scotland’s rich industrial heritage and mythological folklore. Witness their impressive scale and artistry at The Helix parkland.
We will then continue to the historic city of Stirling (approx. 4 hours). After a short walking tour of the city, you will have time for lunch (not included), shopping, or explore the majestic Stirling Castle, once a royal epicentre, wander through the charming Old Town, visit the Stirling Jail, or experience the Stirling Distillery. (Tickets to attractions not provided – if you plan to visit any of the sites we recommend pre-booking online for cheaper tickets).
From Stirling we will be heading back to UWS
